Project Engineer III – Senior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the lead engineer for assigned projects and delegate tasks to designers and drafters.
  • Mentor designers on design tasks and provide assistance to other engineers.
  • Coordinate project delivery with owners, architects, other consultants and disciplines.
  • Read/Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics and computer-generated reports.
  • Prepare calculations to establish appropriate sizing for infrastructure, equipment, and distribution.
  • Research, verify, review and become familiar with, city, county, and national code requirements.
  • Participate in project meetings during all phases of project.
  • Review contractor submittals to determine conformance with contract documents.
  • Evaluate, select, and apply engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria required on assigned projects.


Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Successful completion of the Ohio State Board FE examination
  • Current PE license for Ohio or have the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment

  • Read/Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics and computer-generated reports
  • Prepare calculations to establish appropriate sizing for infrastructure, equipment, and distribution.
  • Research, verify, review and become familiar with local, state, and national code requirements
  • Participate in project meetings during all phases of project
  • Review contractor submittals to determine conformance with contract documents
  • Evaluate, select, and apply engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria required on assigned projects 

Requirements for Entry Level Project Engineer positions:

  • Successful completion of the Ohio State Board FE examination or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire
  • Successful completion of engineering internships with recommendation letters or other professional experience highly desired
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited school of engineering
  • Some background with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite
  • Revit experience desired
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients
  • High level of organization and attention to detail

Experience in healthcare, education and/or government projects highly desired

 


CAD/BIM Revit Drafter

In the CAD (BIM) / Revit Drafter role, you will work alongside project engineers to produce Revit models and finished construction drawings of buildings and related projects.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Experience with Autodesk Revit and/or AutoCAD software.
  • Experience with reading construction industry documents (floor plans, elevations, schematics etc.)
  • Understand CAD requirements needed for different clients and ensure drafting/CAD standards, quality assurance and quality control procedures are followed during drawing planning and production
  • Ability to work well with others, multi-task, problem-solve.
  • Associates Degree in CAD Drafting, pursuing a Drafting/AutoCAD or Engineering Technical degree or previous coursework in the same.

Commissioning Agent

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Owners, Architects/Engineers, and Contractors (OAC) and their representatives to represent Dynamix and complete the commissioning process
  • Complete the commissioning process and documentation according to the appropriate standards (LEED, Green Globes, ASHRAE, etc.)
  • Read/Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics and computer-generated reports
  • Assist in the development of commissioning standards and processes
  • Assist in the development/review of owners Program of Requirements and Basis of Design
  • Prepare project specific commissioning plans and coordinate commissioning activities with the OAC partners
  • Assist in the review of Mechanical and Electrical designs related to systems to be commissioned
  • Review contractor submittals related to systems to be commissioned
  • Prepare and manage pre-functional checklists and functional test requirements
  • Perform site observations, monitor functional testing, and analyze trend data to ensure systems operate as intended
  • Prepare and maintain commissioning issues logs on assigned projects

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of commissioning experience – including strong practical background in commercial HVAC and Building Automation Systems
  • U.S. Green Building Council – LEED Accredited Professional preferred
  • Commissioning credentials (CxA, QCxP, etc.) preferred
  • Strong practical background of commercial buildings and operating/maintaining HVAC Systems and Building Automation Systems
  • Associates degree or higher in Engineering, HVAC, or Construction Management
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to utilize commissioning software, Microsoft office software, and operate in a mobile environment with laptop, tablet, and phone as tools for data collection and management
  • Experience on healthcare, education and/or government projects preferred

The HR Generalist will work closely with the HR Director to fulfill the responsibilities of our fast-paced, engineering firm.

companies known as “Veregy”, we are currently experiencing rapid growth that has brought a tremendous amount of
opportunity to our company and our amazing team!

Dynamix, a Veregy company, is seeking a Human Resources professional with experience as a generalist, preferably in a
professional environment. The ideal candidate is someone who has been exposed to many HR functions or knows how
to efficiently solve an HR task, project or initiative-or understands when to ask for help. We are looking for a motivated
individual who has been seeking an opportunity to be mentored with a goal to advance in the field of human resources
by partnering with the HR Director as well as having the autonomy to take on projects and initiatives.

Primary responsibilities include (if not noted, items on the list below can be assigned to or assists with):

  • Recruiting: place advertisements, screen/interview candidates, conduct reference checks, draft offer letters, etc.
  • Notifying all applicable parties in preparation of new hires and performing onboarding process upon arrival
  • Assist with AAP and maintain binder
  • Act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics including but not limited to benefits, policies, procedures, general inquiries, etc.
  • Represent the Company at Campus (and other) career fairs and other recruiting events
  • Exercise discretion and extreme care with confidential and sensitive matters
  • Collaborate with other staff members on employee relations issues, training, staffing and other initiatives and organize meetings, interviews and classes as/when needed
  • Schedule and conduct exit interviews with employees and communicate information with HR Director and
    applicable members of management
  • Organize Employee Recognition and Awards
  • Maintain, update and revise HR documents, forms, policies, etc. as needed and conduct periodic HR audits to
    ensure regulatory and legal compliance
  • Assist with corporate requests, projects and other initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience
  • SHRM-S/CP or S/PHR or willingness to obtain within 12 months
  • A minimum of 5 years of HR experience is required, 3 years as a generalist
  • AAP experience preferred
  • Knowledgeable about HR policies and laws
  • Confidentiality and integrity are absolutely critical
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite/ HRIS experience helpful
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong interpersonal and active-listening skills and the
    ability to remain poised in difficult situations.
  • Ability to work independently with multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Client service-oriented team player.
  • Ability to identify issues, develop recommendations and implement solutions.
