City of Columbus — New Impound Lot and Office Building

The City of Columbus desired a new impound lot and supporting administrative office building to handle the growing needs of the City.

Dynamix Engineering was instrumental in designing the 17,000 ft² administrative office building which will house the Parking Violations Bureau and the Police Accident Investigation Unit. In addition, the firm designed the Police Accident Investigation Unit Garage which is 8,000 ft²

The project features light pollution reduction to minimize light trespass from the site. Additionally, energy was optimized at a 25% reduction in energy costs and 40% water reduction.

The project is seeking LEED Silver Certification.
